Today I will be joining Linda at Coastal Charm. It's a fun place to be!

Wire baskets are one of my downfalls. I have had this wonderful basket for so many years I can't remember what it cost. I found it in Canton,
Texas in the '80's.

This is one large basket I found it at Junk Bonanza. It was under $15.00. It is 27 x 17 x 6 inches!

These 2 baskets just fit in my $5.00 book case.

I think this basket was from a freezer. It was $3.00. It works well at the end of the bed.

Now this is one of my very favorite and hard working vintage dish drain. I love the style and it really is a gem. It was under $7.00.
Well I have more BUT I do not want to bore! You know what your Mother always says about over staying your welcome!
I hope all of you in blogland will have a wonderful Easter.

I love wire baskets too. Last year I found a store in a small town I travel to for my work that was selling old locker baskets for $5.00 apiece. I walked out that day with 20 of them! I did end up selling some on ebay but 1/2 of them are fully utilized in my craft room. I love the look!

I just love the look of wire baskets- and they are so useful, too!
Oh I love wire baskets too Alice! Yours are wonderful. I am hoping to find some in my thriting travels for my laundry. Hope you have a wonderful Easter ~ Tina x
Alice, here is another of those dejavu moments! I have the very same 27 by 27 basket, and I have two exactly like the one at the foot of your bed! I too can't pass up a wire basket of any size or shape! I think we may have been twins separated at birth...
Marie :)
Alice,
It's so good to see you at the PAR-TAY and thanks for bringing all your wire baskets with you! I have some just like yours, that I bought at CANTON too!
Blessings,
Linda
I love them too...and use them everywhere. My dad still has some of the old wire egg baskets he used to use as a boy on their family's chicken farm to gather eggs. He has given me a couple and I have them full of big sea shells.
Hopping over from Coastal Charm... I'm loving your baskets! What a cute way to organize!
I am so jealous of all of your lovely wire baskets! I have a total of 0. They are on my must have list though!
Wire baskets are awesome aren't they? I like how you're using yours!
Love your collection of wire baskets Alice...I always keep my eyes open for them as well. Will I get to meet you at the AAJMS event?--I sure hope so!

Hello Ms. Alice, I just wanted to let you know that I left an award on my bloggie for you. You have been very kind to me and I thought I'd thank you. If you don't want to participate, I am cool with that too. Thanks, Linda
Love your wire baskets. Cute and useful, too!

Hi Alice
Well I love your wire baskets.. I also have some.. and a few vintage gym locker baskets I bought from the US... so I think I love your 'freezer'' basket at the end of your bed... keep those tootsies warm!! xx Julie
Neat old wire baskets are always fun. I like the freezer basket at the end of the bed too.
Wire baskets are so much better than all this plastic stuff that is going around, thanks for posting!
Not boring at all--I love wire baskets. I featured your memo board this week :)
Hi Alice!
Oh, I adore wire baskets, too! I only wish I'd snatched them all up before everybody else discovered how totally cool they are. :-)
Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
Anne
Alice....they appear to be VERY functional...and that is good.
It's funny, I bought a "basket" today too ...to put my STACK..and I mean STACK of print outs that I have done over the past few months.
I was taking PhotoShop Classes for a while..and the lessons were 8 & 10 pages long and they are all piled up on the corner of my desk. Along with some other things I have collected over the years...magazine articles, etc.
So I need to make things a bit more tidy on my desk before we have some new freinds over next week.
And your baskets have convinced me of that.
Rose
Hi Alice,
Ooooo, love these baskets. I loved to see how you used them too! Really thrifty and nifty! :)
Debbie
LOVE them! I can't resist wire baskets either. They are so charming and versatile. My most recent is an old locker basket from a factory that shut down. I brought it in, rather rusty, and put it by the front door to take out and clean and possibly paint. Man O Mine immediately decided it was perfect for all the "stuff" he takes back and forth each day, so it stayed there.
